Aesthetic, heritage doors: Going into a little depth with street photography
Yo people! Got some really cool snaps today, and now I can't really wait much to share them with you guys :D
We had an assignment recently, for to which I went on exploring some more of the "World heritage Ahmadabad city".
You guys must have been wondering, why am I so obsessed with Ahmadabad, so here's the answer: my college is around the place, so whenever I have some leisure time, I invest it like this (apart from my 'these' kinda assignment, off course :p) *and now we know why being in a design college is the coolest thing ever*
So, without wasting any more time, here you go:
- Frankly saying, I don't remember the ISO or aperture values used, AT ALL, for these pics!!! But yes, can never deny the fact, that finding a nice composition, as such; and then the post-production; literally everything is so much fun :D
- The texture of the wood used for making the old gate, and ya, the the fruit vendor sitting in front of such a huge gate gives a nice sense of proportion, which makes the picture actually very interesting. It also adds to the 'depth of field' and gives a sense of depth to the photograph.
- I like aesthetic old doors, and subtle colors: told ya already :D
The beautiful combination of subtle
aqua (please correct me if I'm wrong with the name of the color) with peach is
worth spending a few minutes to look at.
And, if you guys notice, you will find
that the door is locked. There is something, which I can actually relate
emotionally to the scenario.
"Like the door, each one of us have locked ourselves from the world, in one form or the other. There is so much within us, but the key is lost (maybe temporarily only)."
And it looks difficult to approach (or open the door), it is...it is harsh :(
But it's not at all like that, as all it requires is just a key!
There's a lot more to come. I'll be posting more photographs soon. Till then, stay tuned!
Hope you creative design guys like it! You may please feel free to leave your queries (if any) in comments below and also suggest your intelligent suggestions :)
