Sketching: Beginner's Guide.
To start with, first of all I would like you all to know the very first rule of sketching- “There is NO RULE.” Ya, you read it right, there is absolutely no rule in sketching!
The only thing that matter is one’s ‘PERCEPTION’.
Perception is the way you see things, the way you observe them.
For example, once a child scribbled with his brown crayon on the table. Two people were asked to observe it carefully, and then pen down their views on it. For one of them, it was just rubbish, but for the other, it seemed the same as the bark of a tree.
So, what I am trying to tell you is, our PERCEPTION is what actually justifies our art work.
The second thing is- CONFIDENCE.
One has to remain confident about his artwork. And remember; pay no attention to what other say about it, because our confidence level ultimately reflects in our art work. However, ALWAYS respect your CRITICS, as they are the people who MOTIVATE you toward doing better!
Hence, these were some basics tips, which EVERY artist should know before beginning.
